As we get closer to the November election there is more and more evidence that our district is winnable.  Letters like these are popping up in papers and blogs all around the district.  Momentum is continuing to build and we're increasingly getting inquiries about how people can help from Newton to New Bedford.

Representative Frank is facin...

Last night we scored a big victory by overwhelmingly winning the Plymouth County GOP Straw Poll 85% to 15%. The Fourth District towns from Plymouth County include Lakeville, Middleboro, Halifax, Rochester, Mattapoisett, Marion and Wareham. This area will be critical to our success against Barney Frank this November. Independent voters in these towns, as well as the central part of the district, broke heavily for Scott Brown in the special election, suggesting they are exceptionally agitated by the direction of our country and the lack of progr...

Great point made by David Boaz at the CATO Institute in DC:

“Rep. Barney Frank, chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, said Tuesday that he will hold a hearing this fall to examine whether regulators are being tough enough in curbing pay practices at Wall Street firms that can lead to excessively risky practices,” ...

A constituent in the district takes Barney Frank to task in today's South Coast Today over his role in the sub-prime mortgage crisis, supporting bogus financial regulation reform, and constantly wasting taxpayer dollars:

The recent Frank-Dodd "Wall Street Reform Act" represents more government, higher costs, and very little to do with what caused the financial meltdown. Frank's bill will result in over 250 new regulations aimed squarely at local banks and credit unions that were not...

Dear Friends,

I would like to introduce to you our son, Theodore “Theo” Sean Bielat.

He was born August 5, 2010 at 6:43pm. His specifications at birth were as follows:
7 lbs
19.5 inches
10 fingers, 10 toes
Blonde hair, blue eyes

In the past three weeks, he has gained 1 lb 4 ounces and has grown 3 inches.
He becomes peaceful and quiet when I talk to him. He smiles and gets energetic when Sean talks to him.

We chose the name Theodore because it means “Gift from God” in its Greek origin. What better way to describe our son? Also, the fe...

New evidence has surfaced that shows Barney Frank still can't get his story straight on Fannie and Freddie. In February, Frank was quoted in the New York Times being critical of the mortgage giants.

"I’ve said we should abolish Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in their cu...

Leader, US Marine, Businessman

It's time for a change--just look at the current state of the economy, or our political leadership's focus on redistributing wealth rather than creating prosperity, or the idea that government should be continually expanded to address any and all problems. Too often our elected officials put representation of an ideology ahead of representation of the people.
